From humble beginnings in Northern Minnesota Mrs Moxie was born for drag. With a love of Halloween instilled by her grandmother, and musical inspirations like Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks to fan the fire Moxie was being formed. In 2019 the early version "Moxie Tantor" was born into the world. Performing at her first show in Elizabeth, MN at the Silver Dollar Saloon, Moxie made her big debut along with hometown performers who she still performs with today.
From 2019-2021 Moxie continued to do more shows with local performers in her hometown, while evolving her style and becoming "Mrs. Moxie", the country housewife drag queen she is today. In February 2021 Mr. and Mrs. Moxie along with their fur babies decided to shake things up and move just a little further south from Farmington, MN to Northfield, MN to establish the "Moxie Funny Farm".
Their first year in Northfield the Moxies started getting to know local business owners and residents, and one year later Mrs. Moxie catapulted her drag career by performing her first one woman show, "Rainbows and Rhinestones" with The Guild Theater, emceeing Northfield's PRIDE in the Park, and hosting her first monthly game night at Imminent Brewing. That was all in one weekend!

Its been an incredible ride, but this journey is much more than just wigs and rhinestones. The art of drag is a mission for Mrs. Moxie to bring representation, love, and acceptance to rural communities in Minnesota. The Moxies love where they've been and cannot wait to see where the future has in store!
